IJ Special Interest Groups (SIG)

Purpose

These groups empower IJ members to create small groups around specific topics or needs that feel alive for them and will bring value to the IJ community and deepen connection amongst its members.

Eligibility to Create a SIG

• Any member with at least six months of active participation.

• The member must commit to facilitating the SIG for a minimum of six months.

• The member must have a fellow IJ member who will be their partner. (Strongly encouraged)

Responsibilities

What does it mean to be a SIG lead?

• SIG recruitment

• Set up of the meeting schedule 

• Design and facilitation of meetings

• Reach out to the assigned Guardian for riffing, brainstorming, and/or troubleshooting

• Record activity and participation
